Ontario’s regulated market keeps growing. The iGaming Ontario directory listed 47 operators on June 29, 2026 and 49 operators with 84 gaming websites on September 1, 2026. Two of the best-known brands to arrive this year are Hard Rock Bet, which launched in July, and Fanatics Casino, which launched on September 1.
This page tracks new Ontario online casinos that we can confirm are part of the regulated market, and explains how to check any new site before you sign up. We only list a site here after checking it against the official directory.

New Ontario Online Casinos in 2026
| Brand | Operator (as listed by iGO) | Products | Key dates |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fanatics Casino | FBG Enterprises Canada, Inc. | Casino | AGCO registration reported August 11, 2026; launched September 1, 2026 |
| Hard Rock Bet | Hard Rock Digital (Canada) Limited | Casino, Sports Betting | AGCO registration reported effective May 14, 2026; launched July 22, 2026 |
Both appear in the iGaming Ontario operator directory as of September 1, 2026. Dates are taken from public announcements and industry reporting; the directory is the final word on whether a site is currently regulated.
Fanatics Casino
Fanatics launched its online casino in Ontario on September 1, 2026. It launched with casino games only; industry reports say a Fanatics sportsbook is planned for 2027. In the directory, the site is listed under FBG Enterprises Canada, Inc. in the casino category.
Hard Rock Bet
Hard Rock Bet went live in Ontario on July 22, 2026 with both an online casino and a sportsbook. It was the company’s first market outside the United States. The directory lists it under Hard Rock Digital (Canada) Limited in the casino and sports betting categories.

Why the Numbers Don’t Always Match
You may see different operator counts in the news. For example, some reports described Fanatics as the 50th active operator, while the iGaming Ontario directory showed 49 operators on September 1, 2026. News outlets sometimes count registrations, while the directory counts operators with live sites under an iGO agreement. When numbers differ, go by the directory and its “accurate as of” date.
How to Check If a New Ontario Casino Is Legit
New sites are where most mistakes happen. A brand may be well known in the United States or Europe, but that doesn’t mean its Ontario site is live yet. Before you sign up:
- Search the directory. Open the iGaming Ontario directory and search the brand. If it isn’t there, it isn’t part of the regulated market yet — even if it has announced a launch.
- Use the link in the directory. Brands often run separate Ontario and international sites. Clicking the directory link takes you to the regulated Ontario version.
- Look for the iGaming Ontario logo and AGCO details on the site itself.
- Be careful with “coming soon” pages. An AGCO registration doesn’t mean a site is live. The brand also needs an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario.
- Watch out for copycat sites. Popular new brands attract look-alike domains. The directory link is the safest way in.
What to Expect From a New Regulated Site
- The same rules as established sites. New operators follow the same AGCO standards for game integrity, player protection and responsible gambling as long-running brands.
- ID verification. Expect to verify your identity and address. See what affects withdrawal speed.
- Few advertised bonuses. Ontario limits public bonus advertising, so new sites usually show offers only on their own site or to players who have opted in. Our Ontario casino bonus rules guide explains why.
- Limited payment options at first. New sites sometimes add payment methods over time. Check what’s available before you deposit. See our Interac casino guide.
- Responsible gambling tools from day one. Deposit limits and self-exclusion must be available. Ontario’s centralized self-exclusion is covered in our BetGuard guide.
How We Keep This Page Updated
We compare the iGaming Ontario directory against our last saved snapshot and check public announcements from operators and regulators. A brand is added here only when its Ontario site appears in the directory. If a site leaves the directory, we remove it. The full current list, grouped by operator, is on our Ontario online casinos list.
